[Kobe, Jam Jam] About Japan.

I can list three main reasons why I like Japan.

First, there are bidets in almost every place. (For some people, that is important.) Second, the people are incredibly polite and kind. Because of my nature of easily adapting to others’ basic manners, my self-esteem soars, making me think, “Was I always this kind of person?” And, as expected, the jazz playing everywhere draws me there. I hear it at okonomiyaki restaurants, ramen shops, and even sometimes at convenience stores.

If I had to choose the best jazz spot among them, it would be a jazz cafe called “Jam Jam” located in Kobe.

Structurally, it has a remarkably excellent system. First, the cafe’s interior is divided into a listening zone and a conversation zone, satisfying the needs of consumers with different preferences. The staff, who are family members, clearly perform their respective roles and serve one another. The father selects LPs at the dual turntables to DJ, the mother manages the kitchen and keeps things tidy, and the daughter handles serving and guidance.

Finally, the music is good. The jazz here is good.

I might to book a flight to Osaka within three months just to visit this jazz cafe.
